Terms and Conditions for Contest

Please read the terms and conditions carefully. By entering this contest, you accept and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Organizer Information

The Contest is organized and conducted by Sony India Private Limited, having its office at A-18 Mohan Co-operative Industrial Estate, Mathura Road, New Delhi-110044 (“Sony India”).

2. Contest Period

This Contest will commence on 17th June 2025 at 00.00 Hrs (IST) and end on 30th June 2025 at 23.59 Hrs (IST).

3. Eligibility

• The Contest is only open to citizens of India residing in India who are at least 18 years of age on the date of participation, except for residents of the State of Tamil Nadu.
• Employees of Sony India, its advertising and promotional agencies, and its auditors/executing agencies, along with their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate.
• Participants must provide valid proof of identity, age, and residence (such as Aadhaar Card, Passport, or Voter ID) and PAN Card upon request by Sony India.

4. Participation

• Participants must complete and submit the survey form shared by Sony India during the Contest Period.
• Each participant may submit only one (1) entry. Duplicate or multiple entries shall be disqualified.
• Incomplete, inaccurate, or invalid entries, including those arising from typographical errors or technical issues, shall not be considered. Sony India shall not be responsible for any connectivity or server-related issues or any other similar issues during participation.
• Entries that do not comply with these terms shall be disqualified. Sony India reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entry at any time.

5. Winner Selection

• Ten (10) Lucky Winners stand a chance to win one (1) Sony product each — five (5) winners will receive a Sony WF-C510 and five (5) winners will receive a Sony SRS-XB100 as the prize.
• Offer/Gift/Prize are subject to changes/withdrawn without prior notice.
• Product images are for representation purposes only and may differ from the actual product. Quoted MRP is for one (1) unit of the product.
• Ten (10) users will be selected through a randomized computer-generated process from all valid entries received during the Contest Period.
• Winners will be announced within 60 Days after the end of the Contest Period via email and Sony India’s official channels.
• If a winner cannot be contacted after two (2) email/phone attempts within three (3) consecutive days, an alternate winner will be selected from the remaining pool of participants with valid entries.

6. Prize Details and Dispatch

• Each winner will receive either a Sony WF-C510 or a Sony SRS-XB100 (“Prize”) as the prize.
• The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. If the prize is unavailable, Sony India reserves the right to substitute it with an item of equal or greater value at its sole discretion.
• Subject to verification by Sony India, the prize will be dispatched to the winners at the address provided by them within 7 Days.
• Sony India shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage to the Prize or non-receipt of the Prize due to any error in the address provided by the winners or any other reason beyond its control.

7. Use of Participants Data

• Personal data collected during this Contest will be used for the purposes of conducting the Contest, verifying winners, and dispatching prizes.
• Participants agree that their data may be used by Sony India for marketing communications, including updates about products, services, and promotions.
• By participating, winners consent to Sony India using their name, image, or other details for promotional activities without additional compensation, in compliance with applicable laws.

8. Compliance with Indian Laws

• Consumer Protection Act, 2019
• Indian Contract Act, 1872
• Information Technology Act, 2000
• Prize Competition Act, 1955

9. Limitations of Liability

Sony India shall not be liable for technical issues, disqualification due to non-compliance, or loss/misuse of prizes after dispatch.

10. General Terms

• Mere participation in the Contest does not entitle the Participant to a prize.
• Sony India reserves the right to modify or terminate the Contest without notice.

11. Privacy Policy

• Personal information collected during the Contest will only be used as specified above.
• Data will not be shared with third parties except for Contest-related purposes.

12. Dispute Resolution

• Any disputes arising shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through negotiation.
• If unresolved, disputes shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
• All disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts in New Delhi only.
